Well I had to write this thing man.....

Who said good people exist only in books, films and imagination, well they exist in India too... Today early morning at 8am, I was just too tired of getting up from the bed as yesterday till 11pm, I was busy working in the kitchen... though I had a bad tiring day from morning 10 to 6 in the evening .... Reason being relatives are coming at home, beta ... we need to have all kinds of varieties n stuff!!! well, can't blame her for all the traditional stuff....

Then fortunately my hard earned money at internship had to be deposited in my HDFC bank account..... I hardly go there as I do not involve myself in financial stuff but today was a different day for a fact.... i went with mom as she had work too..... so sorted d work and now had to rush to college...

As usual, i was running late! Easiest option : "Rickshaw!"

I sat and asked mumma if i could drop her... Suddenly she noticed a mobile phone in the rick...

n she asked me, if it was mine (this proves that though i have changed 4 sets in past 5 yrs.... she does remember which mobile i own since past 1 yr!!!!!)

I asked the rickshawala, " Bhaiyaa, aapka last passenger kaun tha?". He said a young guy with a Himesh Reshamiya cap on his head( arre bhai, himesha k toh baal nai the, isiliye cap pehne ghumta tha, tumhe toh hai, tabhi ghum rahe ho!!! No comments on such idiotic fashion sense...)....... n incidentally the guy entered HDFC only so we found him immediately.

The auto guy returned the mobile..... Not just that..... When we moved out of the bank, someone called out... we looked behind and realized it was the bank manager himself... He gifted a watch to the auto guy for his honesty! Whoaa.....

Well, this is called reward! Had the guy been dishonest, he would have got a second hand mobile but he was honest and got a brand new watch! Well for HDFC, they definitely earned word of mouth publicity!

Beg and genuine earning!

Have you ever given money to a small kid along your way?

Have you ever given a thought where exactly this money goes?

Have you ever given a second thought about how you have made one person more dependent on someone else and deprived him of his self-respect?

If you haven’t given a thought to this, just read the following and you will understand about it.
When you give beg, you just employee a person in the ‘begging business’, which of course is big with overwhelming money in it. This ‘industry’ runs on sentiments of each individual. You may know how your sentiments can be played with and your sentiments are multi-folded when they are attached to children. So when you see a kid begging, you feel how much of pain must he be in. So you do the needful you give him a small amount thinking that you have just helped him and the amount is not so big for you. Do you feel proud because of that? Well, in that case, you shouldn't be. The one-buck, which seems too small to you, has actually great worth when you multiply it with the rest of the population. Ever heard of the saying that Millions of drops make up an ocean. There are thousands of others who think on same lines and they do the same. Humans do not know about begging right from their birth it is not a primeval instinct. They learn it from some one else and in this case from their parents. The parents know that their small child is a potential earner and who can earn much more than them then why not send them to work (beg). Now to increase the earning capacity of family you need more earners (beggars) so how you get them, more kids! Adding to the already down trodden population. I don’t understand that if you can’t look after your kids, why the hell do you have them??? The government of India has beautiful system of free schools and mid day lunches for deprived children. Why will a parent send an earning child to this school and suffer losses. So now you have an illiterate and non self-reliant adult and India’s dream to have a better educated population is broken.

So if you want to break this loop this is what you have to do. Next time when a child begs to you, don’t give him anything rather save this money till it becomes a big amount and donate it. When the parents of these children see that they are not earning anything through the child, they will stop sending them to beg and of course drop the plans they had to have more kids. They will now at least think of sending them to school because their one time food expense is being taken care of and their future will be much brighter. Now there will be a positive shift towards much more literate people.

Well this one is written by my best friend Omkar.... since he is too lazy to prepare his own blog :P.

No genuinely I agree with the above thought and in true sense if you think about this, you will realize how every signal in Mumbai has minimum of 4-5 beggars and mostly its a full-fledged family. They can all resort to good occupations like security to cleaners and stuff like that but why resort to begging yaar..... Give it a good thought! I have always heard there is no shortage of employment but there is shortage of good skilled employees right from a Good CEO and a good security..... its like have you seen the monster.com's advertisement.... right job for the right people....

If you can give the beggar a beg, then have you ever talked with the security at your office place who operates the lift? The one who is standing at the gate at your office? Forget at your residence, you talk since he does a good amount of work for you!.... But the one at office, he must be earning hardly anything, atleast he is not begging! You know wht he thinks about you? you pass everyday and say hello to all your colleagues but not me! I also work like you and infact more hours than you! but you dunt greet me like I greet you! Evryone laughs at you at your back but I want to smile at you when you say hi to me and feel on top of the world talking to a person like you!

The other day I was walking down in my college corridor and this lift man started smiling at me and asked me ' Kaise ho aap?' And I was amazed that i have not seen him here before but somewhr i guess i know him!...... Knowing my habit of talking to all the security guys wherever I go.... I stopped to ask him where we had met? He was like " Arre aap to **** College mein pehle the na?" I am like "arre haan! aap gate pe hote the na?" And I felt good! He was smiling so heartily and was happy to see me as if I was his daughter! You should see tht smile! You get satisfied by doing a good deed this way too, not jus by giving money but wid a smile everyday, you can do a good deed..... After 2yrs of leaving my old college, i met this man and he actually remembered me out of those 10000 foot falls every single day in that college coz we used to talk to him.....

Identity!

Identity is important.... I had never given this word 'Identity' any importance until a few months back!
Not because I am a PR person and this word means more to me than a normal human being. Ofcourse I know it holds a great position in PR.... but I am talking about it as on a normal individual front.
Is it important that relationship asks for changes in you? The answer is Yes, it does.... although I have seen people denying the fact that they never changed though they have but truth cannot be hidden.
Why? Well, the answer is simple you need to give time to other people as well as that special person....
But Is it necessary to change our identity for them? Nope, it isn't. If a person out there does not understand your identity, that is your true self, then what's the point in continuing a fake burden even for a short time....???

Is it worth it? Yes, it is only if the person you are dealing with is worth enough for all the change... which is trust me very rare... Its not coz people are not faithful but rather nobody in today's scenario is ready to compromise and why should you? A man has his goals to achieve - Name, money, a nice business, a decent house and so on and so forth.... All these years until now, things used to work only in a man's direction of goals but now even girls turn out to be competitive and brainy making the compromising scenario difficult ... How? Well... they also have equal and competitive goals as men have... Nonetheless, both are jinxed with the greed of fame and money and bound to get entangled in the fast life of today leaving neither souls satisfied at given point of time....

They don't find pleasures only in falling in love or cooing all the time... they even find pleasure in attending seminars and parties for business.... every third thought is for making some money or name in the businessworld magazine and dreaming of that article on the first page of ET of TOI ...

Its not that either of the genders deny that the other in competitive but the competition is becoming healthier with the growing years.... In the race, you can include even children having their own levels of pressure.... which they don't crib about but are happy to face the challenges.... I remember a 4th Std. student explaining Forex to me a year back ..... amazing... I remember that I had not even heard that word till I was in second year of my college and my colleague standing with me in the class was still unaware while the child was explaining.....I was in fact shocked when one of my students studying in 5th Std told me that he was dealing in shares since he was of age 7 and used to watch news before coming to school in the morning!!!!!

People that's why just don't say that globalization is emerging .... they are sensing it, feeling it and trying to survive in this competitive market... Gone are the times when guys used to impress girls by following them like they had no other work and girls used to waste time over canteens and make-up... Today both of them want to get noticed by an equally talented person by impressing them through their achievements and goals in life.... They want a partner whom they can stand shoulder to shoulder and discuss their financial investments!
Gone are the times when people used to find a partner who can support them ... today they want someone who is independent and who can support themselves... Gone are the times they used to fight for rights ... now they know how to get them without making noise and how to move on ....

Nobody is ready and has time today to cry over the spilt milk, instead make money on your enough to buy another packet of powdered milk!!! All these changes have become more evident since last two decades and have clearly given both the genders and equal right of Identity and time to make a mark on the world through their talent....

Music..........

Music.... In India, music has altogether a different influence more than any other place I guess....

The other day in the lecture, one of our professors were teaching us and he told us how music influences so much to an individual that your unconcious mind actually changes the direction of thoughts according to the kind of music being played in the background or so....

He proved it to us also... in the form that if the sad music is played unknowingly a person is tilted to make such a kind of conversation though it is purely unintentional.... This made me think... a few months back I used to read this particular story on the internet. Every 15th of the month, the writer used to post the next chapter. It was a tragic love story, pure fiction... but I loved it and while I was reading that i always used to play a particular song repeatedly throughout the time i used to read. Though the song not supposed to be that great or romantic, was quite a hit during those times. I remember that somehow now I have linked that song to the story so much that whenevr I hear that song being played somewhere, the whole tragic love story flashes in my mind... I have never remembered any story so vividly but i remember every detail of this story.

Music is also known to make you remember things more specifically..... it increases the concerntration power. That is it is said that students who study with the music being played in the background tend to remember things faster....

Music is if what can create our moods then in that case I guess we all should listen to collections which spread positve attitude around us... Thats why they play songs dedicated to God in the mornings and various kinds of positive feelings unlike resorting to some crying crap..... Its just one life - God has given everyone an equal share of happiness, love and sad phases according to what they deserve but what we can do in all this is, to decrease this pain or borning life (if at all u hav then) into a phase which makes you feel proud to have left a good past to remember.

I have heard of this one that though everything may leave you, you should never leave hope coz its one things that can bring all your desired things back...

Dunno why I am writing this.... one of my friends told me.... When two people of opposite sex meet even in men or animals, they show their love for each other for sometime in their own way and then if something goes wrong they then move to some other to show their love .... the process continues until they find the one with whom they click for a long time.... Wonder what would have happend if our ancestors had the same policy :P

Blog....

Its not about writing that people are obssessed with... Nobody wants to write for the heck of it... they wana prove their thoughts and present it so that they can leave their impression on atleast some minds out there...

Who said you need to be a writer for all this... You just need a good language so that people understand your point of presentation and do get the moral of it. People have this notion or rather lack of confidence that they cannot write well or rather there is a particular way to write and all... but there is nothing as such... If you see the way Agatha Christine and Sidney Sheldon presenting their versions, both are equally best but the way of presentation is completely opposite. Though I can't leave a book of Sidney Sheldon till I have completed reading each and every word, I will surely be sleeping cozily in me bed before I complete reading Agatha Christie's first chapter of any of her books...

This does not mean that any of them are good or bad, it means that every writer has his or her own kind of readership out there in the market. Its just that their collections should reach to the right kind of target audience. This is not like a school book chapter which is compulsory. It is voluntary to read.

Like we have a library at my place. My brother being titled towards being a rigorous learner, he usually manages to read self-help books and also motivational books whereas my selection can extend from fictions to management but though I have a great collection of all the leading authors int the self-help n so called stuff, I just cant manage to read them.

And in the similar way, I have seen other people doing the same. Everyone has their own choices and liberty to present their thoughts. Blog gives you freedom to present your thoughts, your ideation and your vision to an endless reach of audience who can give you a feedback which can help you to improve also come closer to your readers. Though this does not mean that books no longer have their importance... they still have and stand their importance so much as it always used to have or rather more in the form of saving the history.....

Books are your best friends they were the same when you read them and they are the same after years....

I did that ....

Cycle of Life!

I don't why this happens.... but God has really created this world to experience the pain and happiness in snippets.... The circle of life tells that sorrow is a part of life so that you can enjoy the happiness at its fullest...

Mythology tells us that what is destiny is bound to happen eventhough you do anything...

An expectant queen looked at panditji when he was predicting future to the King - "Your child will leave all the pleasures of the world and leave your materialistic things to gain inner happiness. This will happen when he witnesses sorrow in his life." A shocked King ordered to increase the height of the walls surrounding his kingdom and asked all mantris to take care that no sorrow is ever encountered by the child.

Years passed after King Siddharth was born and he got married too. He had a son but still he had never encountered sorrow. Once he decided to outside his Kingdom alone on the horse and suddenly saw various sorrows of life in the face of a beggar, an old man, a starving animal and a dying man. Death was something he was unkown to. Suddenly he saw a saint and asked him what was the reason behind all this sorrow in the world and he got one answer - "Materialistic things and expectations my child." That night King Siddharth left his wife, children and his kingdom in the search of wisdom and his soul whom today the whole world knows as Mahavir Bhagvan.

This tells us that no height of the wall can stop the approaching sorrows of life. Its only how you take it... Live every moment as it comes and do not treat sorrows as the end of the world, it may be the new beginning of life in the form of the search towards your soul.

God tests us during a few times and sees the fighting spirit in us and accordingly gives the pleasures to all his children. Haven't we heard that thing- God helps them, those who help themselves. Its jus not a saying but truth... that is why may be the King could see his future generation even though King Siddharth walked out after 30 Years in the form of his grandsons.
Innocence.... Everyone is innocent at heart when they are born.... It is put to test right from there... When your mom cuddles you, she cares for you but when a cousin aunt pulls your cheeks with her rough hands and says "He is such a cute boy!", you want to just tell her that you are a not a pressure ball that she is exercising on.....

Common issues but nvr practise them!

Its not about what you are, its all about how you present yourself!

Image is something people build in their minds about others. It differs from person to person and company to company. But one thing plays a common role in all these things and thats how you build this image. A person living next door to you has an image about you due to your actions, ure language, speech and the way you present yourself whereas someone else like your colleague has a different image that is built due to your work and so on and so forth...

Communication in today's world is like a common thing which knowingly or unknowingly plays a great role. How? C this

We have Trisha coming from a city like Delhi to Mumbai coz she gets into a desired firm with a great package. She finds a pg house in Sion and starts living with a girl whose already living there. The other one is from Uttar Pradesh, pretty decent looking girl but she has taken a course in some college of mumbai.

From 7am to 10pm, travelling between Sion to CST, Trisha finds just no time for herself. Sunday is spent in washing the laundry to cleaning the mess of the whole week. Initial office days were spent in knowingly people around and creating a rapport with them. And then as working days increased, simultaneously work pressure did. Managing with a hectic life in Mumbai while being accustomed to the liesure life in Delhi was getting tougher day by day. Travelling long distance in packed trains and buses compared to rickshaws and clearing the household chores alone instead of mom at home in Delhi. Life started playing its hide and seek games by filling in the gaps through fights with the boyfriend due to long distance, home sickness, lack of communication with close friends and a life at unknown place... paying the price of high package and dreams was dawning on her. Like every other girl, she is not a cribber but had to be now that she couldn't handle it.

How can she solve all this mess... I am not looking for answers ... Its like today most people live...
Computers are best friends instead of books.

Day starts with sms instead of prayers.

You do not know the guy living next door but you know a guy in New york and what he does every single minute.

You do not know your family people well but know your friend's boy friends and thousands of through and through contacts and chat with them regularly

You remember all great days like anniversary and birthday and greet everyone once a year with love but disrespect your parents by yelling at them everyday.

Religion means not respecting humanity but materialistic words.

Celebrating and playing patriotic songs on 26th Jan and 15th Aug is enough rest days you can help in ruining it by giving and taking bribes.

All these things are repeatedly told to us and talked about hundreds of times but has anyone improved themselves?

Its not about just making and watching movies like Nayak, lagaan or Chak De, its about just actually practising it......... its high time ... stop watching K-serials and breaking the unity.... Start from yourself and make others realize it.......
